SEASONS GREETINGS!

Ameena and I would like to thank all of our guests who have stayed with us at Langdale House this year – our first year. Thanks again for all the excellent reviews that you have kindly written on Trip Advisor and other sites. To-day we are ranked 4  out of 89 Bed & Breakfasts in St Austell on Trip Advisor so I guess we must be doing something right! Guests have kindly commented on our nice rooms, comfortable beds, great showers and tasty breakfasts and apparently we are welcoming and helpful too! We do try but it has not been hard as our guests have been a joy to meet and I take a pleasure to explain and suggest nice places to visit and eat as we are proud of where we live. Both of us enjoy and appreciate this lovely part of the world. It is actually quite nice to visit out of season. The Fowey Christmas market earlier this month was a great success and there are all sorts of activities going on………a good website to check out is  www.thisiscornwall.co.uk

We have just placed a “Voucher Ad” on the “This is Cornwall” website which is free to download and print. It offers 2 nights B&B with us and includes 2 Eden Project Tickets and a 3 Course Dinner at the Hop & Vine, St Austell – all for just £189. Book ASAP as the offer is only available until 31 January 2013.

Many of you will remember eating at Ameena’s Pub in the town – The Hop & Vine where you can always be guaranteed a welcome and good honest home made food at reasonable prices.

We hope of course to attract new guests to Langdale House in the coming year. Also, I am interested to invite guests from the business community who perhaps are making visits to clients or working here on short term contracts. We are always willing to negotiate corporate rates. As a global traveller myself we don’t always want the impersonal chain hotels. High Speed Internet connection is an absolute must and we have Superfast Broadband here which is offered free of charge. Comfortable ensuite rooms and close proximity to a decent pub or restaurant is also a requirement. One night stays are not a problem. We are in a particularly good location here on the main A390 and most places in Cornwall are no more than  (max) 30-45 minutes away. Please call me direct to discuss rates.
