We are very grateful to all of our guests who have kindly written such lovely reviews of Langdale House and the experience of their stay with us. As a new business that opened earlier this year we hoped that we had got the "product" right and then it was down to us to be as welcoming and helpful as we could and to try and make our guest's stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The weather was definitely not on our side (I honestly cannot remember such a wet summer) but despite the weather it seems that everyone made the most of the opportunity of getting around and about in this beautiful part of the world. Many guests enjoyed Eden and The Lost Gardens of Heligan and most managed to see some of our delightful coastal villages and ports such as Fowey, Mevagissey and Charlestown just minutes away from Langdale House. Those who stayed for a few days also got further west to St Mawes, Falmouth, St Ives and Lands End and north to Padstow, Wadebridge, Port Isaac (Doc Martin) and the lovely beaches such as Polzeath and Daymer Bay. We did have some good days and a few guests did get out on the good ship "Harlequin" sailing out of Fowey with me. Lots of great memories already of some really nice folk. I always thought I would enjoy the "people" side of this business and as expected it has been a joy. Ameena has been kept busy at the "Hop & Vine" feeding lots of our guests their evening meal and all seemed to report very positively about their experience. Lots of guests  too have commented favourably about our breakfasts at Langdale House - all thanks to our galley slave and Housekeeper Andrea! Anyway, thanks again for the reviews - please keep 'em coming and we will do our best to try and make your time with us special - Look forward to seeing you again next year! (Not that we are going anywhere as we are open all year around)
